On the evening of April 18, as the city lights slowly flickered to life, the Wind Bell Courtyard in Xinchang transformed into a dreamy setting for a starlit encounter. The youth event, themed “Meet at Qixing, Fall at First Sight” co-hosted by the Youth League Committee and Federation of Trade Unions of Qixing subdistrict and NHU, brought together 40 young people for a night of connection, laughter, and possibility.
At NHU, empowering employees is woven into our DNA. We believe that real happiness comes not just from career achievements, but from feeling truly seen and connected. This event, part of NHU’s ongoing “Caring for Employee Growth” initiative, was created to offer young professionals a chance to build genuine connections. Our hope is that as they grow in their careers, they’ll also discover lasting friendships—and maybe even meet someone special to share life’s journey with.

The clue cards handed out at check-in stirred up a buzz before the event even kicked off. With fun hints like “round face”, “a pearl necklace with a little bear”, and “freedom for cats”, conversations started naturally.
The Bottle Game: Where Touch Meets Heartbeat
"Touch your hair!" "Spin around!" With the host's playful prompts, the once-reserved crowd quickly warmed up, laughter bubbling through the group. When the charming Xiao Wang, who missed out on grabbing the bottle, shyly introduced himself with flushed cheeks, no one guessed that a girl would later take the first step—adding him on WeChat.
Fireside Vibes After Dark
During their free time, a few young people gathered together to chat about work and life. "I didn’t realize your job was so challenging", one said. "What a coincidence, I also love cycling!" These shared moments of connection helped them bond and feel closer.

A Reflection of Company Care
To "retain" young talent, the first step is to ensure they "thrive."
Beyond offering a broad career development platform, NHU places great emphasis on the holistic growth of its employees. Through regular events like My Story Talk, skill competitions, and networking events, every team member can find a sense of belonging. As Xiao Li, a developer who attended the event, shared: "Usually, my routine is just lab to dorm, dorm to lab. But today, I not only met some new friends, but also felt the company’s real care for our personal lives. Honestly, it’s the type of company I can imagine myself growing with for a long time.”
Moving forward, NHU will continue to embrace the philosophy of "retaining talent through career and emotional connection", allowing more young talents to thrive in career while finding happiness in Xinchang, ultimately realizing the inspiring vision of "putting down roots in Xinchang and NHU".
NHU’s project, “Development and Industrialization of Integrated Manufacturing Technologies for High-Quality Solid Methionine” was awarded the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award in recognition of its significant technological breakthroughs and industrial value.

On December 12, the forum “Resilience, Symbiosis, Leadership – Release of the Top 100 Chinese Multinational Private Enterprises and the Zhejiang Business Think Tank Dialogue on the 15th Five-Year Plan” was successfully held in Hangzhou. At the event, the Center For Chinese Multinationals (CCM) of Zhejiang University Business School (ZIBS) released the Top 100 Chinese Multinational Private Enterprises 2025 list. NHU was honored to be included, in recognition of its forward-looking global strategy, robust and continuously innovative R&D system, and growing international influence.
